2010-07-13 11:54:55 - Demo from the new album is out
Swing by the myspace page (www.myspace.com/dennisfallonmusic--or you can go over to the links page) and check out "Summer Country Nights"--a song off of the upcoming album (which will be out in a few months)--it's a throwback to all those old Petty, Springsteen, Creedence songs that we all loved as a kid when we were hanging out with nothing to do on a Friday night. It's just a demo, the full track will be up soon, but let me know what you think. Also, lots of new pics of the new band are up there, as well.
2010-07-13 11:54:09 - I have a song on "BIG BANG THEORY"
One of my tunes, "The Break Up" has a huge feature spot on the CBS show "THE BIG BANG THEORY" for a full two minutes. Really cool news! As soon as I can find a clip of the show, I'll post it for you guys to see!

2010-02-09 12:23:57 - 1,000 views a month...
A year ago I posted a live video of fiddle player Daniel Collins and myself performing live and doing an acoustic cover of the BLINK 182 song "Dammit"--I didn't do all that much promoting and the video is getting over 1,000 hits a month by word of mouth alone. Now, I know that's not as good as "Pant on the Ground" or Susan Boyle or anything like that. But I'm still happy that people are digging the video. If you want to, check it out by clicking below or search me out on YOUTUBE under DENNISMAGEEFALLON Hope everyone is having a good 2010! P.s.-this version of "Dammit" I did made it onto the album I released last year--you can get the record on my page, my website, itunes, napster, amazon and cdbaby. Thanks!
2010-01-15 13:04:02 - NEW ALBUMS OUT NOW
So, I've got a record out (click on the icons on the media page or in the news section) so, please download a copy and check out what I've been up to in 2009. My newest record is a stripped-down affair, performed by myself and Daniel Collins on fiddle. It features my version of Blink 182's "Dammit".In other cool news, I have been busy producing other artists, and you can check out their albums by clicking below or visiting their webpages. Pleas support these awesome singer/songwriters!
Tamara Power-Drutis: Tamara is sweet and simple, with a great voice and really cool lyrics that is going to really explode on the scene soon. She is in the vein of Brandi Carlisle, Ingrid Michaelson, Jewel and Joni Mitchell. Check out her album by clicking below (and you can find her at www.tamarapowerdrudis.com)
Fatman--The one and only Fatman is a old-timey blend of bluegrass, folk and acoustic Pink Floyd, all wrapped up in a giant, jolly package. I remastered the album "Friends and Family" (released in 2007) and we uncovered five "lost" tracks. This album is so much fun, and great for fans of folk, country and bluegrass--it's a collection of public domain tunes from the deep south, Civil War and even some cool covers. Check it out when you click below!
2009-12-18 01:29:33 - NEW LIVE VIDEO FROM SEATTLE
Click over on the media page and scroll down to see some rough video shot live at our show at Piecora's in Seattle, WA. It's a new tune (called "Let Go") that will be on the upcoming album!
2009-11-15 19:35:53 - ITUNES, ITUNES, ITUNES!!!
So, the newest album (released May, 2009) is on itunes--this is my first solo album available there! Pick up a copy! - WINTER 2009
I just completed producing the debut album by Washington singer/songwriter, TAMARA POWER DRUTIS. Check her out via myspace or on www.tamarapowerdrutis.comIn addition, been writing a ton of songs and begun previewing new material all over Seattle (check the show listing for more info).
The demands on my schedule are getting to great with songwriting and performing (and preparing for a BIG career jump), and I regrettfully have to step down from hosting the Seattle Showcase Night at Murphy's Irish Pub in Wallingford. I am training a replacement, Mr. Ben Campbell, who is also a hell of a singer and peformer of comedy songs (check him out!). I am still booking for December 2009 and can definitely help performers get shows in the Seattle area, so I am still active. Feel free to drop me a line!!!
2009-11-13 13:40:33 - OCT 2009 UPDATE
Hope everyone is great. Just got back from PENNSYLVANIA, where I played to a record-breaking crowd at THE BAR in my hometown. (of course, it's not that big of a bar, but it's nice to pretend that I sold out an arena, ha ha). My hard drive crashed on my work computer, so I lost 300 song ideas--I am working on recovering the tunes, so keep your fingers crossed-and BACK UP YOUR FILES. You never know when it could happen to you. I have been working on the album with Loren Israel non-stop down in Los Angeles (though right now, everything is happening via email and over the phone). I should be in Hollywood to do the vocals for the record in November. If you're feeling lonely, drop me a line! I love to answer some emails!

2009-09-24 14:42:59 - BACK in STATE COLLEGE
For a few days at the end of SEPTTEMBER, I will be back in State College visiting home and blowing off some steam during this long and difficult recording process in Los Angeles (half of the work is done in Seattle, but the recording takes place in West Hollywood). Please drop me a line so I can catch up with Pennsylvania friends. I will be onstage with Lowjack for a few songs on SEPTEMBER 27th at THE PHYRST. I will also be doing an acoustic set at THE BAR in Boalsburg, PA. This is my only show in Pennsylvania for the next 5 or 6 monhths, so make it out if you can. No big shows this time, instead just catching up on all those pretty Northeastern leaves. Sweet!
2009-08-15 22:17:53 - New Dylan cover posted

If you like what you hear, please pick up a copy--because the album is independently sold, I see over NINETY PERCENT of the profits, so you are not supporting some bloated and greedy record label. Thanks so much to those who have already bought a copy! The mp3s will be available on itunes and amazon soon. Thanks! Dennis
2009-03-07 14:01:56 - FIND ME ON FACEBOOK
At the request of my female friends and fans, I have broken down and gotten a facebook page (I am one of the few people left who actually likes myspace..) anyway, I've taken a shine to it. Search me out and let's be facebook friends. Just search "DENNIS MAGEE FALLON" and there you go. I've posted a bunch of tour shots of all the crazy places I have played. You'll love 'em, trust me. See you on Facebook. Also, I just recently took the video down off of the site. It was old, giving people trouble and we are working on some new video...
2008-11-12 10:32:43 - Back from Hollywood, San Diego and all points south
Just got back to Seattle after hitting up a songwriter's conference in LA. Thanks to Megan Combs for the show in San Diego. The trip away from the Seattle rain refreshed me. Check the showtimes for some shows I will be doing back in my home state of Pennsylvania in January. Open Mic is going good, and I am even gettting back to shows. Recently, I've gotten the writing bug again, and me and some of my cowriters are writing songs like water off a duck's ass. Hopefully you'll be hearing some of them soon...like on the radio. Ha ha! Drop me a line and say hello! Thanks D
2008-11-12 10:26:51 - SEATTLE OPEN MIC IS UNDER WAY
So, I was living in Seattle for only about 8 days when I recieved an offer to book bands here in the emerald city. Kind of fast, it seems, but I love a good musical showcase, so I took the job. As it stands now, I run a showcase/open mic night on THURSDAYS at MURPHY'S IRISH PUB in Seattle (1928 N 45th Street, for those in the area). It's a great time; instead just taking bums off the street, bands send in samples of their music, and I put together showcases in front of music loving crowds. If you no someone who would be into this, please have them get in touch with via email. Otherwise, see you on Thursday night!
2008-10-17 18:38:13 - Seattle time, and the livings easy...
So, I am living in Seattle now. Expect shows coming shortly as I am taking a slight bit of down-time to do some writing for the movie I just signed on to be music co-ordinator and composer (it's called "Trust Me" and my friend and former manager, Chris Fetchko has some really great stuff cooking for this script-including some REALLY big names--filming should start in Spring '09). Besides setting up shop in Seattle (where I will be helping a new club get off the ground--sound system duties, setup and organization), I want to finish writing some new songs for what I hope will end up as a temporary move to Nashville. Also, I will be in Los Angeles in November for some shows and I am currently booking a string of shows for Pennsylvania--as well as some new recording. Things are busy, but living in the woods of the great Northwest keeps me sane (at least for now...get a little whiskey in me and see how long that lasts!)...

Bio
After successful stints as a radio deejay/weatherman, farm hand, credit card salesman, working in a mental institution, cave tour guide, Film major, Sports Programmer, Taco Bell employee and music journalist throughout Pennsylvania, Dennis turned his strange view of the world to the obsession of the songs he writes; catchy little tunes that spill out of his head faster than he can record them. A sum of his parts, he turned from a budding writing career (he had a short story that was turned into a play) to pursue his passion: the songs he writes. Immersing himself in all things musical and hungry for a creative outlet, Fallon began performing solo shows in his hometown of State College, PA (home of Penn State University). The student body there would embrace Dennis and his songs, where he cut his teeth as one of the city’s premiere performers, releasing the regional favorite, SUPERSWEET POISON in 2003. With so many songs, Fallon formed the (now defunct) band KATSU and LOWJACK around his songs. With potent lyrics, punk mentality, and roots rock training, KATSU took off, landing an independent record and management deal after two short years of unstoppable touring. In 2006, KATSU disbanded (after 3 years), LOWJACK formed, and Fallon released his 2nd record, LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN and a LIVE ALBUM (Feb.2007).
